While traditional framing, with or without a passe partout, highlights the elegance of a photographic print, the shadow-gap frame is the preferred type of framing for galleries and professional artists.

Ideal for large formats, the shadow-gap frame derives its sophistication from the impression of floating it creates between the print and the frame. This slight offset (15 mm) is enough to confer an impression of levity for art photographic prints with minimalist lines. The shadow-gap frame is itself held in place by another frame, ready to hang and slightly set out from the wall (20 mm). The overall look confers incomparable style to your interior.

Approved by museums to reinforce the character of paintings and prints, these types of frames are available for the following formats: Large (90 x 60 cm), Giant (150 x 100 cm), or Collector (180 x 120 cm). Our shadow-gap frames are available in eight colours for our aluminium or acrylic-glass finishes.
